Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: June 2026

Some links on Louisiana Fiber are affiliate links. If you sign up for a service through one of them, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That is how we keep the site free.

What that means

When you click certain outbound provider buttons, you pass through a redirect on our site and arrive at the provider (or an affiliate network such as FlexOffers or CJ Affiliate). If you then subscribe, the provider pays us a referral commission. You pay the same price you would have paid going there directly, an affiliate link never costs you anything.

It does not affect what we show you

This is the part that matters most: commissions never influence our data, our listings, or our rankings.

  • Which providers appear at an address comes from FCC Broadband Data Collection data, not from who pays us.
  • Connect Scores follow a published, versioned methodology. No provider can buy a better score.
  • We list providers that have no affiliate program at all (most satellite providers, for example) exactly the same as those that do, because the goal is to help you get connected.

How to spot an affiliate link

Outbound provider buttons route through a louisianafiber.com/go/ link and open in a new tab. Links to government and nonprofit resources, ConnectLA, the FCC, Lifeline, and the like, are never affiliate links.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255). We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and close to the relevant links so you always know when a link can earn us a commission.
