Overview

Louisiana Fiber (“the site”) is operated by Parity Platforms LLC (“we”, “us”). By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What this site does

Louisiana Fiber provides broadband availability information, provider comparisons, and community-level connectivity data for Louisiana. Our data comes from the FCC Broadband Data Collection, the U.S. Census Bureau, and other publicly available federal and state sources.

Data accuracy disclaimer

We work to keep our data accurate, but broadband coverage changes frequently and we cannot guarantee that every data point is current. Specifically:

• Connect Scores are our own composite metric based on publicly available data. They are estimates, not official government ratings. Different methodologies would produce different scores.
• Provider coverage is based on FCC Broadband Data Collection reports. Providers self-report this data to the FCC. We do not independently verify coverage at every location.
• Speed data reflects maximum advertised speeds, not guaranteed performance. Actual speeds depend on your equipment, plan, and network conditions.
• Eligibility quiz results are estimates based on the 2026 Federal Poverty Guidelines. Final Lifeline eligibility is determined by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) and your service provider, not by this site.

Louisiana Fiber is an independent resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the State of Louisiana, ConnectLA, the FCC, USAC, or the Lifeline program. References to government programs and agencies are for informational purposes only.

Some outbound links to internet providers on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a service through one of them, Louisiana Fiber may earn a commission from the provider or its affiliate network, at no extra cost to you. This is how the site stays free.

• An affiliate link is not an endorsement. Provider listings, coverage data, and Connect Scores are driven by public FCC data and our published methodology, never by whether a provider pays us a commission.
• We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, offers, pricing, or practices of any provider’s website. Your dealings with any provider are solely between you and that provider.

Limitation of liability

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Parity Platforms LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of this site, including but not limited to: decisions made based on our data, coverage information that turns out to be inaccurate, or eligibility determinations based on our quiz results.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site is limited to $0. This site is free to use and we do not charge for access to any information.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download data from this site in a way that degrades performance for other users
• Misrepresent this site’s data as official government data
• Use automated tools to abuse our API endpoints (rate-limited to 30 requests per minute)
• Reproduce our Connect Score methodology or branding without attribution

Intellectual property

The Connect Score methodology, site design, and original content are the property of Parity Platforms LLC. Underlying broadband data is sourced from public federal datasets and is not proprietary.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
