About Louisiana Fiber

Louisiana Fiber helps Louisiana residents find and compare every internet option at their address, then understand how well-connected their community really is.

What we do

  • Check what’s actually available at a Louisiana address, by provider and technology.
  • Publish a parish-by-parish Connect Score measuring availability, affordability, and adoption together, not just whether a wire passes the house.
  • Point residents in unserved areas toward real alternatives and toward Lifeline, BEAD, and state programs that can help.

Where our data comes from

Coverage and provider data come from the FCC Broadband Data Collection. Demographic and adoption data come from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey. The Connect Score is our own composite metric, built on those public sources with a published, versioned methodology. It is an estimate, not an official government rating.

Independent

Louisiana Fiber is operated by Parity Platforms LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the State of Louisiana, ConnectLA, or the FCC. We reference government programs only to help residents use them.

How we’re funded

The site is free and carries no display ads. Some outbound links to providers are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission when someone signs up through them, at no extra cost to you. Commissions never influence which providers we list or how we rank them. See our affiliate disclosure.
